Employee safety and health are prioritized, and a comprehensive occupational health and safety assurance system covering all processes and all personnel has been established.
Work Safety and Risk Control
We rigorously implement a system of accountability for work safety across all personnel and strengthens the dual prevention mechanism of safety risk classification management and hazard identification and rectification. Stringent controls are applied to high-risk activities, including mining operations, mineral processing, special equipment handling, hazardous chemicals management, confined space entry, work at height, hot work, and temporary electrical work. The Company continues to increase safety investments, enhance safety protection facilities and monitoring systems, and routinely conduct safety training, skills assessments, emergency drills, and targeted supervision inspections. A closed-loop management process for hazard identification, rectification, review, and closure is in place to continuously improve inherent safety performance.
Occupational Health and Protection Safeguards
We place significant emphasis on occupational disease prevention and control, comprehensively implementing measures to address occupational disease hazards at their source. Regular monitoring and status assessments of workplace dust, noise, and toxic or hazardous substances are conducted. Procedures for occupational hazard notification, warning signage placement, and the installation, operation, and maintenance of protective facilities are standardized. A system of occupational health examinations for employees prior to job placement, during employment, and upon separation is strictly enforced, achieving full examination coverage for personnel in roles with potential hazard exposure. Employee health surveillance records are established to dynamically track health status. In 2025, no incidents of occupational diseases or occupational contraindications occurred, effectively safeguarding employees' occupational health rights and interests.
Work Environment and Safety Culture Development
We continuously improve workplace conditions, including ventilation, noise reduction, temperature control, and thermal protection, and strengthens safety protection and labor safeguards in special environments involving high temperatures, work at height, high noise levels, or high humidity. The Company actively promotes safety culture development, mental health seminars, labor protection awareness campaigns, and employee care programs to enhance safety and health consciousness among all staff. A strong culture emphasizing "Safety First, Prevention-Oriented, Comprehensive Management" is cultivated to create a safe, healthy, comfortable, and supportive work environment.
Hainan Mining fully recognizes the critical role of safety education in enhancing employee safety competency and preventing workplace incidents. In 2025, the Company and its subsidiaries conducted diverse safety training programs tailored to different roles to reinforce safety awareness and skills among all employees. A total of 88 labor protection training sessions were held, achieving 100% employee coverage with an average of 8 training hours per person. Additionally, 26 key principals and occupational health management personnel from various subsidiary levels participated in occupational disease prevention training organized by local health commissions, with a 100% pass rate in examinations and qualification certification.
